Milne welcomes work of Asthma UK Youth Ambassadors in Scotland

Dr Nanette Milne, Conservative MSP for the North East today, showed her support for Asthma UK in their campaign for greater awareness of asthma to young people in Scotland. Dr Nanette Milne tabled a Motion in the Scottish Parliament in support of calls for more understanding of asthma in schools, more school asthma policies and efforts to ensure that children are not excluded from day-to-day activities because of their asthma.

Dr Nanette Milne, Conservative MSP for North East Scotland and Shadow Minister for Public Health said:

“Asthma is something that many young people deal with everyday and it is imperative that we ensure that schools have policies that ensure they are not excluded from day-to-day activities.

“Asthma UK Scotland Ambassadors are doing a fantastic job at promoting Asthma awareness and their work has to be commended.”
